Celtics smash Lakers, bring home 17th NBA championship

BOSTON (AP) — With Russell and Havlicek sitting courtside, and Red surely lighting up a victory cigar somewhere, these Boston Celtics returned to glory like the great teams before them.

Dominant in every way. On a new parquet floor below aging championship banners hung in the rafters two decades back, the Celtics won their 17th NBA title and a first one — at last — for Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen — their Big Three for a new generation. After 22 long years, the NBA has gone green. Lifted by ear-splitting chants of “Beat L.A.” early and cries of “Seven-teen” in the closing seconds by their adoring crowd, the Celtics concluded a shocking rebound of a season with a stunning 131-92 blowout over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 6 on Tuesday night.

Also congratulations to the Celtics for having HOT ROCKIN’ Cheerleaders in Shiny Pantyhose/Tights.

We have posted about cheerleaders in shiny pantyhose and tights before and there will most definitely be more to come!

Mets fire Randolph; Peterson, Nieto also dismissed

Posted on June 17, 2008. Filed under: baseball, sports, stockings |

ANAHEIM, Calif. — After weeks of speculation that his job was in jeopardy, Willie Randolph finally got fired by the New York Mets while most fans were sleeping.

Randolph was let go in the middle of the night Tuesday, 2½ months into a disappointing season that has followed the team’s colossal collapse last September.

Bench coach Jerry Manuel takes over on an interim basis for Randolph, who led the Mets to within one win of the 2006 World Series. They got off to a strong start again last year but plummeted down the stretch and have been unable to rebound.

OUCH!!! The Mets suck anyway. At least now there is some drama

There’s no crying in baseball!

BULL DURHAM -20th anniversary

Posted on June 17, 2008. Filed under: baseball, movies, sports, stockings, Susan Sarandon |

Since its release on June 15, 1988, Bull Durham has universally been considered one of the best sports movies ever made. But is it more than that? We think so. As the film turns 20, The ESPN talked to two of its stars (Tim Robbins and Kevin Costner), writer/director Ron Shelton and also one half of the famed, “Two Thumbs Up!”, Chicago-based film critic Richard Roeper.

Bottom line: One of my all time favorites. This movie has it all: Baseball and Stockings! If you haven’t seen it. You must.

Although there are no stockings, this is a great scene! Rock!

If Sean Salisbury Asks You To Look At His Phone, Don’t Do It

Posted on June 11, 2008. Filed under: football, men in pantyhose, sports |

Sean Salisbury briefly disappeared from the ESPN airwaves earlier this year. Pro Football Talk noted that Salisbury had been suspended (scroll way down), but the Worldwide Leader gave no reasons for his absence, in fact, they never mentioned it at all. And on December 27th in a column at CBS SportsLine, Mike Freeman gives a “media entry” for his “All-Selfish” team:

The NFL analyst who shall not be named that took a picture of his penis with a cell phone camera and has shown it to numerous, uncomfortable women, then was suspended by his network for it. Absolute true story. Please make sure to clean off the mirror when you are done with it.

If you want to see the picture of Sean Salisbury’s Penis Click Here!!!

Haha! Rock Hard!

Former Racing Official Mauricia Grant Sues NASCAR for Racial Discrimination

Posted on June 10, 2008. Filed under: nascar, News, pantyhose, sports |

NASCAR’s being sued—to the tune of $250 million—by former racing official Mauricia Grant, who claims she was wrongfully terminated after enduring years of racial and sexual discrimination.

Grant worked as a technical inspector responsible for certifying cars in NASCAR’s second-tier Nationwide Series from January 2005 until she was terminated in October.

According to the Associated Press, Grant says she was regularly subjected to racial slurs from co-workers, including being called a “Nappy Headed Ho” and “Queen Sheba.” She alleges she was told she worked on “colored people time” and feared an official who routinely referred to the Ku Klux Klan.

Grant says male co-workers often made sexual advances toward her. Two of her male co-workers exposed themselves to her, she alleges.

Grant goes on to say that she reported the behavior to her supervisors on numerous occasions but was dismissed. On former supervisor, she alleges, chalked the behavior up to “former military guys” with a rough sense of humor. “You just have to deal with it.”

The suit, Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, alleges that Grant was subjected to sexual and racial harassment on multiple occasions throughout her employment.

Love girls and cars… nice legs. the pantyhose are subtle. nice touch. Rock!

I hope the Celtics Win Tonight

I just don’t like Kobe. He annoys the hell out of me. So far in Game 2 the C’s continue to ride the bad knee of Paul Pierce with a 54-42 halftime lead.

Kobe Bryant may be an ass. But there is no denying the shiny legs of the Laker Girls!

Rock Hard!

Maria Mutola wins for 16th straight time at Prefontaine Classic

Posted on June 8, 2008. Filed under: News, sports |

Mutola’s fantastic run at the Prefontaine Classic ended Sunday with a victory in the 800 meters, her 16th win at the annual event.

She pulled away from the field to finish in 1 minute, 59.24 seconds. Afterward she knelt down to kiss the Hayward Field track.

“I’ve been running this for half of my life,” the 35-year-old from Mozambique said. “It’s like I know nothing else but the Prefontaine.”

Mutola slowly circled the track for her victory lap, stopping to shake hands with nearly every spectator who reached out. Others gave her a standing ovation.

Now living in Johannesburg, South Africa, she is a local favorite who went to high school in Springfield, Ore., and trained in the Eugene area for many years.

She plans to retire after this summer’s Olympics in Beijing.

“I’m going to miss coming here,” she said. “I’m going to miss the crowd, I’m going to miss the race. But sometimes you just have to say goodbye to good things.”

When Mutola competes for Mozambique in Beijing, it will mark her sixth Olympics dating back to Seoul in 1988- when she was 15. She won the gold medal in the 800 meters at the Sydney games.

Rock Hard Maria!
